Reduce Iowa’s Nutrient Runoff and Flood Impacts, Restore Local Water Quality, and Eliminate the Dead Zone.
With Wings2Water, we have created both a platform and a funding stream for water improvement throughout the Mississippi River watershed. From advocating for more sustainable farming practices that help reduce runoff and pollution to wetlands restoration and flood control, we’re taking important steps to secure clean water and healthy ecosystems for generations to come. The time is now to take these steps. Please consider joining us.

We offer two types of grants to deserving organizations and individuals that help fulfill the mission of our organization.
One is for educational programs; the other is for projects that improve and/or restore water quality or help reduce nutrient pollution runoff.
Highlighting impactful water quality conservationists in lowa.
Every quarter, we highlight an impactful person or organization making a difference in local water quality. This can include farming practices, conservation initiatives, or individuals making a difference in water quality education. The Water Warrior and their story are spotlighted with displays and marketing in our airports, on social media, and online. We are grateful to GreenState Credit Union for supporting this positive recognition of those making a difference in water quality.
